Then keep all the required products that you need for manicures and pedicures on the table. Now, keep a bucket filled with normal water beside you so that you can use it when required.

Then keep another bucket half-filled with warm water to soak your feet and hands in the water. Now, wash your hands and feet properly with mild soap and water before starting the hands and feet care session.

Step 2 – Use nail polish remover

Use cotton balls and nail polish remover to remove nail paint applied previously. Make sure there is no trace of nail polish left on your nails. Now, soak the feet and hands in the bucket filled with warm water for 10 mins. If you have cracked heels, you can use foot care products like – Avon Footworks Double Action Footfile and Avon Feetworks Cracked Heel Cream by Avon India. Also, using a scrub can help to remove dirt and dead skin cells.

In case, you don’t have a cuticle pusher you can use some clean cloth. Remember, do not cut your cuticles as they protect the nails from infections and bacteria. You can use cuticle oil or coconut oil to keep the cuticle healthy.

Just apply a few drops of oil and massage gently around the skin. Cut your nails to the desired shape and length. Then file your nails and buffer them.

Step 4 – Give TLC to your hands and legs

Give some treatment, love and care (TLC)  to your hands and feet. Take a good moisturizer or hand and foot cream and apply it to your hands and feet.

Then give a gentle massage in a circular motion so that the product gets absorbed into your skin. Do not be in a hurry while massaging, take some time to give proper care to your hands and feet.

Now, use a cotton swab and nail paint remover to remove excess moisturiser or lotion. This will help in proper cleaning and application of nail paint.
